Laser Therapy

Our wide range of lasers use a variety of wavelengths to target different depths of the skin. This allows us to customize each treatment to the patient’s specific needs. Laser can be used for many different skin conditions (see below).  Please book a cosmetic consultation to see how laser treatments can help you.  No referral is required for laser treatments.

Skin Resurfacing

Skin resurfacing is the treatment, or removal of some or all the surface layers of skin as a therapeutic alternative to the surgical face lift.

Resurfacing carbon dioxide laser is the gold standard for all non surgical skin rejuvenation procedures.  This highly effective treatment does require a few days of downtime and is the most expensive laser treatment available. Our patients who have had this laser treatment achieve excellent aesthetic results in very few treatments, without the need for surgery. During the procedure, a high-energy beam of laser light is used to smooth out lines, wrinkles, and scars and remove brown spots and other skin irregularities. It also stimulates formation of new underlying collagen to continue improvement over time for a skin-tightening effect. Our laser clinic has its own hospital-grade approved and inspected surgical facility for your comfort and safety. Although most often performed on the face, skin resurfacing may be performed on the body.

Different procedures, alone or in conjunction, vary in invasiveness and have a range of benefits beyond reduction of laxity including improvements in fine lines and wrinkles, firmness, texture, pore size, the appearance of photodamage (such as vascular and pigmented lesions), and a general healthy glow.
